What material is the fabric made of? Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers are fabricated with a patented hinged fabric made of 100% prime polyester blend. How are Ballet™ Performance Drapery Sheers made?
Drapery Sheers are made from panels of sheer fabric. Each fabric panel contains 3, 4 or 5 billows. Depending on the width of your track you will receive a combination of fabric panels utilizing as many 5 billow panels as possible. The fabric panels attach to the track with specially designed fabric hangers which are attached to each section of the panel. Options When rotated to the closed position, the tightest closure will be in the top ¾ of the drapery sheer. The fabric will flow more loosely toward the floor, allowing more light to gently filter through the sheer.
Product Specifications & Performance The hinges are designed to separate as part of the fabrication process. Some slight separation may occur along the hinge line at the top and bottom of the sheer fabric panels during the handling and installation process. This slight separation is normal and does not affect the function or beauty of Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers.
If light blockage is required throughout the length of the sheer, the optional vertical PVC vanes may be added to increase the room darkening capabilities.

Fabric should be handled with care by always supporting the full weight of the fabric panel. Do not stretch the fabric or allow an entire panel to dangle from a single hanger. Excessive fabric handling and stretching may cause an increase in separation along the hinge line. See the installation and care guide for more details.
Due to the delicate nature of the fabrics, limited removal and handling is recommended. If necessary, Drapery Sheers may be washed by hand or machine washed on gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Please review the installation and care guide for detailed information on proper removal and handling. Instructions are as follows: Note: Excessive handling may lead to separation along hinge line and subtle fraying along top and bottom edges of fabric panels. Washing may affect the hand of the fabric which may cause the drapery sheers to perform slightly differently from before they were washed.
