What is the Woodwinds Recycling Program?
The Woodwinds Recycling Program allows you to choose window treatments that you can feel good about: window treatments that are environmentally-friendly because they are made of recycled materials, and window treatments that are a great value because they pay you back when it's time to redecorate:

When you return a Woodwinds blind to Comfortex for recycling, you'll receive a $25 certificate good toward the purchase of a new Comfortex Window Fashions product.

So, join the effort to conserve our earth's resources. We'll reward you for doing it!

Which blinds are eligible for the recycling promotion?
All Woodwinds Wood Alloy Blinds purchased after May 1, 2007 are eligible, regardless of color, including Reed, S-Curve, Beveled Profile Blinds, Privacy Plus Room Darkening Blinds, and Plantation Shutter Blinds.

How do I receive my $25 certificate?
When you order a Comfortex Woodwinds blind, Comfortex will include a Woodwinds Recycling Redemption Form with the order. Can't find your form? Click here.

When you wish to replace the blind, simply follow the instructions on the form. This form must be completed and returned with the Wood Alloy slats. All other metallic and plastic parts may be disposed of with your household recycling. One $25 gift certificate will be awarded for every blind noted on the Woodwinds Recylcing Redemption Form.

You can send your slats, along with a completed Woodwinds Recycling Redemption form, to:

Woodwinds Recycling Department
Comfortex Window Fashions

Phoenix, AZ 8500

You may break the slats into smaller sections to fit in standard mailing pouches.

Only nominal charges should be incurred when slats are broken down to mail pouch size, so you are responsible for the shipping costs.

When will I receive my $25 certificate?
