John C. Fitzgerald
John C. Fitzgerald is the executive Vice President of Comfortex Corporation, an international manufacturer of decorative window covering products, employing over 600 people and headquartered in Watervliet, NY. John has extensive senior executive experience in all areas of marketing, sales, and product development. Previous to Comfortex, John served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and President of Precision Marketing Associates, a division of Garden Way Inc. Prior to Garden Way, John worked as the Director of Marketing for Avon Products, Inc. where he developed a wide variety of sales and marketing programs leading to increased profits and new channels of distribution.
John was educated in the finance, marketing and international business fields. He received degrees from Fairfield University and University of Connecticut in Finance (BS) and Marketing/International Business (MBA), respectively. He received International Management Certification from Columbia University in 1993.
John is or has been a member of several local and national organizations, including a member of Direct Marketing Association, President of St. Pius X Alumni Association, an elected member of the St. Pius X School Board, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Albany County United Way.
John, his wife, Barbara, and their three children reside in Loudonville, New York.
