Comfortex Launches Two New Insulating Products for the Fall: Door Decor™ Cellular Shades and ComforTrack™ Plus MAPLEWOOD , NY - Comfortex Window Fashions, a leading innovative manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatment products for global distribution, is pleased to introduce two new insulating products this fall: Door Décor™ Cellular Shades and the ComforTrack™ Plus Energy Saving SideTrack System. Door Décor™ Cellular Shades are the perfect insulating design option for hard to cover narrow windows and doors. Door Décor is available with energy efficient Symphony® and Virtuoso® Light Filtering and Blackout fabrics. Door Décor Shades feature a tension control system and are available in three operating options. With up to 37% of total heat loss from a home occurs through uncovered windows, Door Décor Cellular Shades offer another insulating option to remedy this wasteful loss of energy. The improved ComforTrack™ Plus Energy Saving Sidetrack System maximizes the energy efficiency of a cellular shade by closing the gap between the side of the shade and the wall. The new ComfortTrack™ Plus are attached to the window casings with magnets and can be easily removed for window cleaning. The newly developed clear edge seal is placed between the shade and the track to help create a tight seal. The dual seal system helps to minimize heat loss and save energy dollars. In addition, ComforTrack™ Plus is excellent for bedrooms and media rooms because the amount of light that can penetrate a room is significantly diminished. “Just as zippering an open coat in the winter makes a big difference in blocking out the cold, the ComforTrack™ Plus maximizes the energy savings value of a cellular shade by blocking the air gap”, states Comfortex Executive Vice President, John C. Fitzgerald. “Comfortex’s first product lines were energy efficient greenhouse style window coverings, and insulating properties has been a mainstay of the Comfortex product lines for the last 26 years. Our recent development of insulating products, such as new Door Décor™ and the improved ComforTrack™ Plus Energy Saving Sidetrack System, are a natural and timely addition”, said Comfortex Executive Vice President, John C. Fitzgerald. Comfortex Window Fashions, founded in 1986, is an innovator in the window fashion industry. Thomas J.
